• Service Provision: To process rentals, verify identity, and deliver equipment.
• Security: To prevent theft, fraud, and ensure the safety of staff/customers (CCTV).
• Legal Compliance: To meet obligations under QLD laws (e.g., proof of identity for high-value rentals).
• Communication: To contact you regarding bookings, payments, or safety issues.
• Dispute  Resolution: To address incidents, damages, or complaints related to rentals.

4. How We Collect Information

• Directly from you: Via rental agreements, forms, ID  copies, and in-person/phone communications.
• Automatically: Through  CCTV cameras at our premises (clearly signposted).

5. Use of CCTV & Audio Recording

• CCTV  with audio operates 24/7 in designated areas of our QLD premises.
• Purpose: Monitoring for security, safety, and fraud prevention.
• Signage: Clear notices are displayed at entry points informing you of recording.
• Retention: Footage is stored securely for 30 days (unless needed for an investigation) and then deleted.
• Access: Access is restricted to authorised staff only.

6. Disclosure of Information
We may disclose your information to:

• Service Providers: Delivery companies or technicians (only necessary details).
• Legal/Regulatory Bodies: Police, government agencies, or insurers if required by law (e.g., theft investigation or court order).
• Debt Collectors: If payments are overdue (contact details only).

• ID  Copies: Stored securely (encrypted digital  systems) and destroyed via secure deletion within 30–90  days (once no longer needed for verification or  incident resolution).
• Electronic  Data: Protected by firewalls, encryption, and password access.
• Staff Training: Employees are trained in privacy  and data handling.

8. Your Rights (QLD)
You have the right to:

• Access: Request details of personal information we hold about you.
